Drew Govan; Principal Artist & Owner
Drew has been tattooing for nearly 15 years, starting with apprenticeships in Edinburgh before moving over to Fife and opening BlueBox in 2016. Drew has toured many of the UK Conventions, winning awards along the way and enjoys seeing and learning from the top artists around the country.
Specialising in realism and portraiture, Drew has extensive experience creating works of art based from photographs of celebrities, loved ones and even the family pet. Whether colour or black & grey, Drew will highlight the detail and beauty in the image, introducing unique elements to his tattoo designs to make the most of the imagery and the impact. Look out for some of his comic book inspired pieces to see this in action!
When not in the shop, Drew loves to build & create in his spare time and will turn his hand to most projects, working with wood, paint & even mechanics from time to time. When he isn't being creative you will find him in the wilderness hiking through the Scottish hills with family & loyal spaniel by his side.

Louise has been with BlueBox since 2016 and has been piercing even longer. She enjoys a challenge and always looking for the next unique piercing to try.
